3 pointsTbh I think airports will be a good addition even without aircraft. It could be a server wide spawn for fresh spawns giving the illusion that you just got off the plane and are ready for a new life on the island

2 pointsOnly hairstyle I want is... GIVE ME PURPLE HAIR DYE! Gonna make my character dress a bit like me- black clothes, heavy sharp eyeliner, purple or dark lipstick and PURRRRRRRRRRRRPLE HAAAAAAAAIR! *vixie's half-face reveal*

2 pointsAnother thing to is, its a game. It is not france.. its a place where people will be able to express themselves... and enlighten people like you into interesting fashion that you yourself in real life wouldent see in day to day life.. it would let you experience new things. and maybe even educate you on what else kind of things there are in the world. If these clothing hurt your eyeballs and you dont like them.. then what ever? If it bothers you? Then just look at it in a different way. i see it as something Artistic. seeing something different, can arises alot of new idea's and thoughts. Anyway what im trying to say is that there is more to life and this world then what you expereince in your own world.. and there are things people may want or like that you dont like. Everyone is different. and im not expecting you to go GAGA of this choice of clothing. id like for you to be more open minded, and just see it as an experience. just because you dont see it in your country it dosnt mean that others wont enjoy seeing it?

2 pointsIt would be cool if say you could go onto a map via your in-game phone, tablet or PC for that matter and arrange a meeting with someone at a certain time at a certain place, this would give the other player(s) a text message or Email in game whether to accept or deny this or an alternate to this is to reply via a text or Add new location and time. Just a fun little idea of mine, if it has already been posted please remove this

2 pointsThe Devs stated no planes for a good reason, they dont want to make the island feel small and they want players to interact with each other, but they stated that they are thinking about a possibility of adding they at a later time after release. Also you come in from a train, when you first start out.
-
2 pointsThis is honestly better, if you're going to trade something in real life, do you drop it on the floor? No. You put it in their hand. The trade system, like this is closer to that than dropping it on the floor.

1 pointWhat types of cars, mopeds, boats, motorcycles, etc would you like to see in Identity? post a photo or two below i'll start Jeep Wrangler - perfect for offroading and people living in the rural areas Vespa - Mainly for players who live in the city and do not have substantial income to afford better cars

1 pointDEV BLOG #001 Greetings Citizens, It has been just over a year since you helped successfully kick start Identity into existence! We want to thank you all for your continued support by providing you all with regular updates following the development process for Identity. Engaging with our community is one of the best ways we can show our thanks, and a development blog is a perfect opportunity for us to bring you along for the ride. As you’ve seen throughout the past year, there is no game out there that is quite like Identity, and through your support, you have proven to us that Identity is a vision worth turning into a reality! Feedback has shown us that you all really appreciate our attempts to respond to virtually every question we receive on social media. Twitter and Facebook have been a huge boost in exposure for Identity, and so it is time we begin to explore other avenues of exposure to help our community understand a bit more about the game. In the coming months, our fans will see their first glimpse of gameplay for Identity! We are all extremely excited to show off our first gameplay video, which will fully explore the mechanics of apartment and housing customization. With this video, you will see that we have stayed true to our original art direction from the original Kickstarter trailer, while maintaining high standards in realistic lighting and graphics. We can safely say that we have improved many of the areas of our design that needed attention since February last year. Apartment & Housing Customization Apartments and houses within Identity will have a fully customizable interior. You will be able to change the wall paper on every wall in every room, place furniture anywhere there is space on the ground, swap out doors, windows, baseboards, crown moulding, and even wainscoting! We have made no compromise to the level of detail in which you can customize your apartments or homes, in order to truly express your sense of home decor. With this level of control, there is virtually no chance that the interior of two homes will ever look alike. There will be hundreds of furniture items available to purchase in-game in every style and design, from traditional to contemporary. Furniture in Identity can even be crafted, sold, or traded to other players, and those who wish to try their hand at crafting hand-made furniture from a variety of materials can place a crafting table anywhere they wish inside their homes! And if you wish to share your space with a partner, friend, or even a group of friends, homes and apartments will be available for sale throughout the world that support multiple roommates depending the size of the space and how many bedrooms are available. The home-owner may even grant build permissions to any number of roommates, even visitors, to help them decorate their living space. When you are finished, invite your friends over to compliment you on your interior decorating skills! If you’re anything like us, we know you will spend more time cleaning up this virtual home than you do your real one! Radio This week, our team has also placed a lot of our development efforts into building a functioning radio system that will allow you to listen to your favorite real-world radio stations through placed radio objects inside your virtual home, or car! Yes, you can flip through the channels in your car radio, which will also broadcast to the immediate area outside your car. Imagine driving down the street and having everyone you pass know you listen to NSYNC! One other major part of this feature that we are excited to tell you about is player operated talk-shows which you can personally host, or tune-in and listen to, from your car radio or home. The way we currently have this planned out for hosts, is to have actual physical broadcast stations on the map that you can enter as a player and begin hosting your own radio talk-show. Player’s listening from their car or home can browse a list of channels currently being hosted at that very moment, and listen to you live, talking about government conspiracies and UFO’s! We are really hoping that this feature will have a major social impact for Identity. Like you, we see a lot of potential in something like this for budding stars within the community. We would absolutely love to see many of you sprout a career that started in a game we developed, and ended with us listening to your lovely voice on our actual car radio! The Town Square (Social Module) Many of you already know of, and are eagerly anticipating the release of the planned “Town Square” module that is currently still in production. While we can’t give you an exact date on when that will be ready, progress is steady, and we are as excited as you are to meet you all for the first time in a virtual environment. You may already be aware that Identity is largely influenced by a landmass in the south-eastern portion of the United States. The Town Square itself is only a small portion of a larger city built into the final version of Identity called Ash Hill, a reference to Asheville, North Carolina where we had originally planned to move Asylum’s office. We picked this area of the world particularly because it offered a wide range of geographical variance. The transition between Identity’s mix of biomes needed to feel natural, and this area offered most of what we had been looking for. As for the other cities in Identity, their influences may become more clear to you now. Myrtle Beach is obviously Turtle Beach in Identity, and Roseport is less subtle, but a mix between Atlanta and New York City. When we first started, we kept everything, including the structures and world props level to the ground, a mistake we have since corrected. We quickly realized that cities are rarely ever flat, and knew that setting that precedent now would benefit Identity in the future. The next time you see The Town Square module, we are confident that you will notice the difference compared to earlier screenshots, what such a small transformation makes for immersion in a game environment. Moving Forward We want to thank our community for being so patient with us. Over the course of the past year, we’ve seen many work-in-progress screenshots of assets destined for Identity, and while we believe they serve as a sample of the work we have already put into the game, we know that many of you are still anxious to see video. Our current priority is to get things ready to show off, or more specifically, the housing/apartment customization first. We are convinced that many of you will appreciate the time and effort we have put into this feature, so that you will be able to fully express yourself through your character and virtual home. We know we’ve been pretty quiet this past year, and the criticism we’ve heard from our fans on that through social media and the forums have not fallen on deaf ears! We will start to release regular updates through development blogs and continue to find new ways to interact with our community, to show you our gratitude for your support. You yourself can become more involved by contributing to the discussion with your ideas at www.identityrpg.com/community. We’ll see you there, and thank you again! Always remember that we are gamers too and we are as excited as you are to play Identity at launch!

1 pointI have been thinking about a music career for this game, and saw an interest in instruments being used in the game on another post. Would anyone else like to see a career focused around being a musician or making a band? I would definitely like to see this become a career in the game. Being able to travel to bars or open venues and play music via the in-game instruments if they are implemented would be really cool. People could be playing in the streets for just tips, or bands could receive loads of money doing a whole concert paid by either citizens or from a city fund. I also think that this would be a good way for people to get together and rp better as a whole. Any suggestions?

1 pointThere should be a way the FBI could hack into a suspects phones and They should make multiple phones to be able to buy so like- A normal basic phone where you can get hacked easily and the FBI can read your texts, a smartphone which is a little harder for the FBI to crack and then a more expensive smartphone that the FBI can not possibly hack. So like for example, the FBI has heard that a criminal is going to meet a customer / "friend" but the FBI don't want to walk into a trap, they can simply ask the higher command if they can try and HACK the suspects phone. if they get approved they should have to go through a series of CAPTHA codes or a minigame or something else just as challenging.

1 pointHello everybody! My name is Razza229, I am a Games Developer (3D Model Artist) hoping to reach bigger goals, I have not started making a game yet since I do not have a team to do so. I also like to Beatbox, especially in a group with other beatboxers like me. I only speak English as my first and only language.

1 pointWith the founder package you get beta access which gives you access to the modules. Modules will be released before the beta and will be evenly distributed throughout the year, the first one hopefully coming out soon. The modules give an insight to different aspect of the game. The beta is set to release later in the year, about December time before the game releases in February next year. Id say its definitely worth pledging now...its cheaper Module info can be found here: http://www.identityrpg.com/info/modules/

1 pointReally you are going to bring Ethnicity into this? what does it matter if im asian or not? And first of all i dont play GTA or Call of Duty.. im not interested in identity for PVP cops and robber bang bang.. im in it for the social aspect and the freedom to express yourself online to other people. also im in it for the roleplay aspect of it. I have no means to play it in a way like GTA if i wanted to id just play GTA? if anything im kind of worried that Twelvey but hurt jack asses like yourself. will just make the 'social aspect' of the game turn to poop Because all you gonna wanna do is shoot some people. There is more to this game than playing bad ass and trying to be top dog gangsta wannabee.. There are some creative aspects to it that some players would prefer to do.

1 pointYeah it would be very cool and also gives other characters a chance to maybe involve in-game hacking? like the Devs could create a way the FBI could hack into peoples phones and could even make multiple phones to be able to buy so like- A normal basic phone where you can get hacked easily and the FBI can read your texts, a smartphone which is a little harder for the FBI to crack and then a more expensive smartphone that the FBI can not possibly hack. maybe I sould post this as another Idea hmm.

1 pointI heard that devs are planning to put some airports in Identity, ok, maybe there will be impossible to have your own helicopter or plane, but what if we just could take the plane from one side of the island to another, since we know that the island will be 225 km2 and it's not so small. For sure it's your choice to go by car or bike to your destiny point, but still, imagine you want to go faster, In Real Life it happens so why not in Identity? Like buying a plane ticket and saving your precious time. Let me know what you think ! And if you think it would be cool, leave a like !
-
1 pointI like it, in-game typed communication is great for talking to people who don't have mics. And it would give us more reason to own phones, laptops and PCs in the game world.
-
1 pointI like the idea but there is one factor that you will never change and that is people will always use ts or Skype even if they are using the in-game your suggesting.feature.

1 pointHello and Welcome to the Identity community! Please use the search bar before asking a question or posting about something to make sure it has not been asked/ posted
-
1 pointYah, well since the devs really want people to communicate in the game, this could definitely be implemented! Hopefully it does, it seems like a pretty cool idea! ^.^
-
1 pointI couldn't find any pictures of it but I would love the style of Bob's house from The Watch, the pub kind of look, cool shit on the walls, pool table, a bar.
-
1 pointBasically it is encouraging people to use more in game features rather than third party software like Skype or Teamspeak3, this would make it more of a challenge for such moments like when a player is in combat and could potentially make players communicate more in game rather than in their own social group where no one else in the game (mainly within radius) can hear, I want it so that there is no secret planning of anything outside of the game, this gives it more of a professional RP vibe.
-
1 pointI am sure they responded as "no" to running dedicated servers from your pc, but also they are not thinking about it, they said that you will be able to run your own community servers, as the devs mentioned they would love to see a community server more popular than their official servers. Also there are more than likely going to be a community server where its for Germans only. (ps - i made a post about what type of server people would have My Post )

1 pointThe devs have said that they aren't sure how to handle shooting from in a vehicle, and I think I may have a solution. I think that if you're going to shoot from inside a car, that your gun should have to be outside the window to avoid shooting through your windshield (it would then need to be fixed if you put holes through it). And since your hand will be hanging out the window, your shots would be extremely unstable/inaccurate and difficult to aim. That way people can NOT EASILY headshot the guy behind them when they're going 100mph, but you can at least try. This would also be much better than having to stop the car, get out, shoot a few times, hop back in a drive off. drive-bys are a real thing and i feel they should be in the game, even if it's hard to actually kill someone while doing it. Hopefully the devs will consider this, let me know what you guys think!
-
1 pointthe developer has spoken already. accept it! trust and obey! if you don't accept it please go and play cheat theft auto v - the ballad of fat script kiddie.
-
1 pointANYWAY!~ back on topic.. Since it seeeeems Colourful clothing isnt immersive.. ive collected some images of Korean fashion!~ which is probably more Likeable then the 'Flashy' japanese clothes. Alsooo for males i guess one website you could look at (which if posted this website on another thread before) But these clothes https://newstylish.com/ They are all male clothes but i think it would work for both genders,
-
1 pointAt the end of the day I'm not going to be going anywhere near these clothes but I don't want to spoil others dreams by not having it in if you at where I'm coming from
-
1 pointI think he means he doesnt want people walking to work dressed as dragonborn because that does break immersion. Unless there was an ingame comic-con!!! SOMEONE WRITE THAT DOWN!
-
1 pointAHH!~ alll that is so cool. love the male clothes, and yes some corsets would be amazing!!~ Here is more pics i want for my character!!~
-
1 pointDo you not understand? This has nothing to do with economy or player equality; this has to do with roleplay experiences within the game. Even if helicopters were 1 million dollars, inevitably, players would achieve this and the scenario which PARATUS describes would happen; and the more people you take out of these interactions, the more dead the world would begin to feel. tl;dr - no
-
1 pointBut, say there were scripted events, such as planes taking off and landing at the airport, or helicopters taking off and landing at big companies, hospitals, police stations, etc... Where players couldn't use them. Would make the world feel more alive and bigger.
-

-
1 pointOur primary reason for not having air vehicles isn't so much the size of the world, it's that they allow people to skip over interaction which is the core of Identity's gameplay. Imagine there's a car collision below and a fight erupts, flying over it without any consideration won't bring so much emergent gameplay as if you had to pass through or alter your path. That's simply one example out of thousands of scenarios where flight deprives you of emergent gameplay. It's sort of like using fast-travel in a game like Skyrim; sure it's convenient, but some of the coolest events and discoveries happen en-route.
-
1 pointFor the Police: The police truck above could be used for example when the police want to set up traffic controls, when they need to block the road etc.. Fire department: The car is for the fire chief. Or if we don't want to give new firefighters a fire engine we could give them the car.
-
1 pointI would like to see a replica of either one of these bikes added into the game. Honda CBR 600rr Yamaha R1
-
1 pointHow about a 1983 GMC Vandura Cargo Van. Or a 1982 Pontiac (Firebird) Trans Am.
-
1 pointAn RV is a necessity, as are... Fancy door cars! That's a Delorean, SSC Ultimate Aero, and Mercedes Gullwing. The Gullwing looks the nicest to me.

1 pointI gotta transport my kidnapped persons somehow, don't I?
-
1 pointGood idea, but I think if you wanted to be a musician and refine your craft; you'd start more on a busking scale. A performer shouldn't be paid via the city fund unless it was a city run event or festival. If people want to listen to you they would pay themselves. If you've been given permission to perform at a bar, a mutually agreed price of entry by you and the bar owner could be put on the door. So that anyone wanting to drink at the establishment would have to pay like $5 to get in and you'd get a cut of the entrance fee. A security guard would collect the money and return it at the end of the night... he may also charge an extra $5 and keep that for himself
