Okay so ill start off by saying that i listen to a lot of bassy music IRL so i would like to see something in game when customizing your car. Different speakers. So every car will have a stock crappy radio and you can upgrade it to better ones and also get ones with better bass and stuff. As my role in this game sees me in cars a lot of the time this is something i would really like to see. Please comment your suggestions Herzog

Maybe it'll depend of which server you're on? On U.S. servers you drive on the right, but maybe EU servers you drive on the left?
  3. 2 points
It will. Our mechanic for controlling the volume level right now is actually tied into the window level. If you roll down your windows the volume is louder outside of the car. The speaker thing is definitely something for us to think about, but it's worry-some that some could be used to grief other players.

Sorry, in other words. I want my car to be really F***ing loud!

Let me preface this by saying, that from what I have read from the devs, they don't want the economy to be like in Altis life. That is to say, essentially a huge grind fest with very little destruction of wealth, fixed prices of goods, and very little movement of money from player to player. In this state money is more like a score than a currency. However there is one major pitfall they are going to have to avoid if they want to do an open market economy right. This pitfall isn't actually inflation, but deflation. Let me give an example to visualize how dangerous this is. In this example there are a group of people, a buyer named Tom and a Seller named Joe. First we have the group of people put their money in a player owned bank instead of just keeping it under their mattress. This is good because it allows this money to move around instead of just being useless like in Altis life. Then Tom wants to start his Taxi company. So instead of having to grind up enough money to afford a taxi. he goes to the bank and takes out a loan to be able to afford the taxi. Kickstarting his business in infinitesimally less time than it would take in Altis life. This is why banks are so great. So now the money that was the group of people's is now loaned to Tom. Again moving the money around instead of having it build up under people's mattresses. Here is where the problem of deflation arises. If Joe, the taxi salesperson, is a player, then everything is fine. The money stays in circulation and Joe will put that money back into the bank. However, If Joe is an AI, and the taxi selling shop is an AI business, the money is gone. It's deleted from the universe. It doesn't remain in circulation and people have to grind more to make that money exist again. I hope the devs can see why this would be such a major problem. So any questions?

This is wayy (like super) down the line, but it'd be great to have an app for your phone that acts as your in-game phone and it can: Check Bank info Check home security camera's. Manage property (for businesses or multiple homes) Pay bills, transfer money Set GPS, timer, alarms etc Like I said, this is a Utopian dream but still cool idea

Right so, a paradox game where you write up or say the best paradox shit you have ever seen. quote from wiki A paradox is a statement that contradicts itself and yet might be true (or wrong at the same time). Some logical paradoxes are known to be invalid arguments but are still valuable in promoting critical thinking. So my favourite paradox so far is probably one of the oldest ones. _ The barber is the "one who shaves all those, and those only, who do not shave themselves." The question is, does the barber shave himself? - Answer I guess; Answering this question results in a contradiction. The barber cannot shave himself as he only shaves those who do not shave themselves. As such, if he shaves himself he ceases to be a barber. If the barber does not shave himself then he fits into the group of people who would be shaved by the barber (and, so, as the barber he needs to shave himself). _ Your turn :3

Hi Geoobomac, ASC provides employees with custom uniforms which will be designed when more information regarding clothing customization and design are released in the game. Early concepts of what the uniforms will look like are in design phase, so we may see what ASC uniforms look like down the line. The ASC uniform will include hat / helmet, shirt, pants, and boots. As of now, weapons and equipment will be purchased by the employee from our partner Donaldson & Guns with a discount. With our associated partners, we get specials on drinks, discounts on gear and services, as well as access to an exclusive employee database on our site.

Well I think that if the police are looking for a criminal they should set up check points like at the edge of the city where the "wanted" guy was last seen, so say a 2 - 5 mile radius or something. Thats would help them just search and maybe trap the guy in the city if he tries using a car after they are set up.

It all depends on the community / owners balance in his server. If they want to make the economy be a bit higher they do so easily with the startup cash however, the cash you get when you buy something in the store here might not be able to be moved to an unofficial server but the items might get moved, however this makes it possible to move other items around that aren't bought directly. Arh such a big system that it is impossible to know what to do. I am almost suggesting that there should not be a transfer of items nor cash unto unofficial server to be honest.

No mate you're not getting this. Please have a look back all the way till post one if you have to before posting anything else. Use your OWN character. Not mine. You bring your character into the RP any way you want. But you can't control other people characters

Definitely, i read somewhere that your in-car music will be audible to those around you in-game, and having a 15" speaker in your trunk set on blast would be sick! I believe the sound should also improve with each upgrade.

Okay so over the past day i realised a lot of stuff about this community and how it works and it really taught me a lot how the game works and will try really hard to fix this . I understand everyone just gets annoyed by stupid 12 year olds who think they can have fun when their actually ruining it. Also now i fall in this age group and i have to show myself diffrent from the others. Im really sorry to all i have said unsensible comments to and i do regret this in general but unfortunatly we cant reverse time. This is my mistake so im gonna message you all about this privately . I know in life your gonna get jugded were ever you go even at school but you have to understand it for it to work. I do understand why this is such a hot topic and why most of you hate me now cause im probably the only 12 year old in this forums. Now i will try my best not to be annoying i will do my rp as serious as it can get i really dont want to ruin anyones game expericence and i know to most of you this game is something that you wanted for a long time and its the same for me i dreamed of this game. It came true. Now all of you think im not mature but that is up to you to decide not me. Everyone has a diffrent opinion and i accept it totally. Im am very sorry guys i hope you guys can understand how stubborn i am and i have a lot to learn from this game Sincerely Lion To all who posted on this topic

Listen i've had a large experience with 12 year old's in roleplay, this isn't the first time i've seriously roleplayed. And from what i have gathered every single 12vie that i have met has been annoying/cringeworthy/not roleplaying. And here is someone that is 12, has a Minecraft profile picture, starting a thread about him being 12 and has a generic name. If i'm gonna be honest starting this thread didn't help your 12 year old problem here at all, only made it worse.

I THINK: It is all up to the political party at hand and task. They have the power to grant checkpoints if not they could improvise like roadblocks with police cars and such.
  30. 1 point
That's a good idea. Imagine going to a buddy's house and having little or nothing to do because they have no power, or perhaps you see a moving truck down the road, helping a homeowner move their things out because they got foreclosed on. I'd also be interested in seeing fuel levels in cars. People would think twice about stealing a car if the previous driver was neglecting their gas tank, and you come to a rolling stop during a police chase, because you ran outta fuel.

You will be able to receive, even deliver, both email and postal mail! Every house and apartment in Identity has a mailbox, which means anything you receive, from newspapers, to items mailed to you by a friend can be found there. We have even devised a neat system where mail actually has to be delivered by a player before you receive it, and if you aren't interested in waiting, you can actually go deliver your own mail to your house.

everyone would be a hitman. because your victim respawns it will end on one of this ways: 1: your victim ragequits 2: your victim shoots you and that is leading to a server wider dm 3. your victim calls the police after spawning, you vs cops > you kill some cops > cops will either arrest you for a really long time or shoot you

Rather tricky for server1 to assign ambassador for another servers since you will never meet that citizens, even so there will be big question for solid communication. Import/export system between servers should be possible and would give rather intersting experience for politics oriented citizens. Depending on law, either government or firm has option to export chosen goods. Government could adjust customs duty. Well it can be taken even further, exporters could pack some illegal substances within cargo, which gives more work for cops. Though you proposed airport..... i suggest port would feel more natural (considering that there will be boats, but no aircrafts). @slovaceck good to see citizens who are able to think outside the box

I know it will never be possible due to certain laws prohibiting it, but it would be awesome if we could have our very own station broadcast on Identity that would allow folks to sign up to be a DJ for a certain time on the server or even make their own radio station people could follow. Even television shows lol likes news casts, I guess that could be more probable since it is player created content we would be televising.

Hey everyone, I'm Brendan, I'm currently a senior in high school taking a programming class and 3D modeling course with high hopes to go into the gaming industry in the future. I've been gaming ever since I was about 5 or 6. I've always loved video games and the world that it put you in. By the age of 13 I bought my first PC and gamed on it for about 2 years, After working part-time I save up money and built my new Gaming PC which is what I use now. After switching to PC I will never go back to consoles! Once I built that computer I installed all my software for 3D modeling and have been creating different projects to store in a portfolios for future job applications, by late 2016 I hope to apply for an internship at Gearbox Software (Creators of Borderlands) to improve my knowledge of the gaming industry. Thanks for checking out my introduction and I hope to see you guys around!
