Our primary reason for not having air vehicles isn't so much the size of the world, it's that they allow people to skip over interaction which is the core of Identity's gameplay. Imagine there's a car collision below and a fight erupts, flying over it without any consideration won't bring so much emergent gameplay as if you had to pass through or alter your path. That's simply one example out of thousands of scenarios where flight deprives you of emergent gameplay. It's sort of like using fast-travel in a game like Skyrim; sure it's convenient, but some of the coolest events and discoveries happen en-route.

On official servers, some things will be lost on death (some, not all, things you're carrying) such as weapons. Private server owners will have the ability to configure their servers to take this further, essentially creating a "hardcore" game mode. We haven't decided if perma-death is something we'll allow yet, but it's possible. That said, if we do it'll not remove your pledge perks as they're primarily cosmetic @JamesLuck01 is fairly spot-on with most his points above. While official servers will have more of a casual fun atmosphere, one of our main goals with Identity is to give role-players an ideal game to live out their imagination. There are very, very few MMO games that offer real immersion these days and immersion is a huge priority for us.

Hello, I would just like to suggest about having different holster types in the game. Now im no master at holsters so i dont have names for any of them so im going to be like a 30 year old drawing a bank heist plan in crayon on this suggestion. So first of all id like to say that the idea of these holsters is that it will have two factors to them: You either have a holster that improves concealment and reduces draw time or decreases concealment but excels in draw time. So firstly, and the one i want to see most, is just sticking it in your belt at the back. I think that this would consist of an average across both factors being that it is half concealed but maybe altering it slightly making it a bit longer to draw because it is behind you, Next would be waist and leg holsters which are open for the world to see but will allow you to quickly draw your gun. After that is shoulder holsters. What i mean by that is the ones that you generally see on the old 50s detective under the armpit. These would have excellent concealment (as you can place them under jackets and other such clothing) maybe making it not visible to the eye but to metal detectors and for this reason maybe make them pricier or illegal. I dont actually know of any more but you sort of get what im getting at. This will improve RP and immersion in the game so i hope to see something like it in game. Thank you for looking and if you have any further ideas about it just post, Herzog

@Herzog They said that they may be/ are going to do this, like I mean they said there will be an option to greet the players and once you greet that person they can see your name. But I am not sure if they are going to do it on the official servers, but I know that most community/ all of them I suspect will do the greetings unless its a casual server maybe wont do it, But I absolutely agree with them doing this for there official servers it makes it so much more fun to play and rp wise better. @bulldogzxz I believe that this would not be wise because well if someone joins it and they have "an apartment" from a pledge they shouldnt lose it and same for the pledge cars. but if they earned it from getting money from jobs and shit, I totally agree. they should lose that stuff. I am sure that you will find community Hardcore servers if you wanted to play on them, look at this post I made: My Post that should tell you that people are planning on having a server which is Hardcore Roleplay. Also so you know, they said that Community server owners will have a lot of options they can change, like Perma death/ lose character on death.

I somewhat agree with a hardcore mode but not really with the idea of losing everything. Maybe just make it harder to do things and buy things. Also things like no name tags, maybe instead a system where you have to interact with another player and get their id.
