@Vix is incredible at indexing my tweets! That's why we LOD to reduce the size of textures and meshes. Draw distance will also be manageable in client settings. I'm sure some lower end PC's will have some problems with Identity, but we're still doing everything we can to accommodate them!. That map is early concept art with improper scaling. We aren't working off it, but rather a composit of it with many many revisions. If we were to ask Pav to redraw us a new map with the new details, it would look a lot more convincing. Cities are much more dense, and cover a larger area of the map. Farmland is more expansive, with fewer trees. Roads and highways have been completely redrawn, and mountains have been re-positioned to make sense of the lake's water source. You'll love it!

Today we have launched the new Identity website, bringing you the most up-to-date information available on Identity game features, media and development news. This website is still temporary while a studio of web-ninjas completes our new epic website, but you'll now find much more regular updates here at IdentityRPG.com. Be sure to check out our DevTracker for all the latest from our community manager, Motown. Motown answers questions on social media and these forums every day, so it's the best place to be to find the latest tidbits of information on Identity. We'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions for the Identity website!

We at Asylum Entertainment are very excited to tell you, our community, how you will be able to get into the game sooner than you think! Identity's modules are small portions of Identity which will be released before Identity is ready for the world. This lets you experience part of the game months sooner than otherwise possible. The first module you'll be getting your hands on is a social environment which we've called Town Square. The Town Square will include all major social components, and will allow you to finally create and customize your characters. You can meet hundreds of new people and explore several cool features of the peaceful city life. For more details on Town Square, check out the modules page on the Identity website. Following the release of Town Square you'll experience SWAT player versus player action and eventually vehicle races of all sorts. We'll be bringing you more information on the modules as they progress!

just an idea but i think it'd be great if we were able to see some of these bonus items we receive depending on what we pay, such as the the cars, bikes and apartments that are included. the reason id like to see these is because im still not sure what to go for, was thinking of the version with basics and the beta because i haven't seen that much on the game itself but if i seen things like the things you get with the "biker" version and i seen this nice apartment and a kick ass chopper or something id be tempted to spend that little extra for that better experience on day one. but id like to know how everyone else feels about this issue and id like to ask what version you guys are going for so far? just for an idea of the communities opinion on pricing and content. id also like to know if these items are exclusive to the people who buy a certain pack, id have mixed feelings if that was the case, would feel a little like its.. not "pay to win" but something along those lines but at the same time i'd still kind of want those items a little more because of the exclusiveness around them.

Hello! I'm Mikey (My-Key, Not Mickey!), I'm 21 and from the south of England, UK! I backed the Kickstarter campaign for Identity as I loved the thought of playing a game like this. I follow various Arma Life mod streamers such as Ming Jingtai (MrBong011), Tim Mac and a few others. I've always fancied playing a life mod like the Arma Life ones but have never been too great with Arma (Started playing after Arma 3 was released, so I'm a bit behind most!) and that put me off, but I look forward to learning and playing Identity. Other games I play include Rocket League (Quite badly too) and Star Wars Battlefront. I occasionally have a flutter with other games such as DayZ, ARK: Survival, The Forest, FIFA etc. As for Identity, I plan on probably going into the black market and selling illegal weapons, meanwhile making contacts and new friends. I plan to do this with my friend outside of the game, who I'll be RPing with as my 'brother'. I've actually spoken with Motown (I believe he controls or speaks for the Identity Twitter account?) and another helpful member of the community, Sicario, about the black market/Illegal weapon dealing and it inspired me to join the community and sign up to the forums! So, I look forward to chatting with some of you on here and hopefully soon on the new module!

A lot of really nice suggestions here. However, there is less chance of seeing vehicles like what @Fursten posted in Identity. We want to keep the game looking completely modern and contemporary!

@Arlmar decided mine already. So my rp roll is I want to be a governor but in my off time I lust over @Vix the stipper/dancer. But I have to be careful because Arlmar is the bodyguard/driver of Vix. And whenever people start getting to close to Vix I get over jealous and have them... Taken care of... Haha that came up partly in a forum chat. But I really would like to be a Governor. Otherwise I will have to come up with a good part

Well Paypal is ideal, but the reason most companies use cards like said in OP is another marketing strategy. People see the cards and get interested what they are for, and in turn, will research the game. So Paypal is always an obvious choice, but when researching a marketing move, the cards isn't a bad idea in theory.

For the Police: The police truck above could be used for example when the police want to set up traffic controls, when they need to block the road etc.. Fire department: The car is for the fire chief. Or if we don't want to give new firefighters a fire engine we could give them the car.

We have five people working full-time directly for Asylum, although quite a few more (which I can't give an accurate number on) in studios. We outsource development studios to handle some tasks to keep costs down. In fact, the majority of the art work you saw in the trailer was outsourced to an external studio who we're still working with now.

And we can't forget to have one of these multipurpose vehicles.

The policing career is the most in-depth of all the careers in Identity because it serves a very important role in the game as a whole. When you first start out as a rookie cop, you'll begin patrolling and responding to dispatch calls. If there's a dispatcher online you can speak to them directly with your radio and if not it's handled by an automated system. As you progress you can unlock additional perks in the policing career and eventually you can experience new specialty roles like detective, SWAT, and so on. A police officer can only ticket or arrest another player for something they are known to have committed. If a cop sees you speeding down the road, he then has the opportunity to ticket you. If he turns on his emergency lights and you refuse to pull over for him, the system will now allow him to charge you with resistance. That is, at the base level, how the system functions. Private servers have the option to remove all restrictions and leave it up to the discretion of the officer, although this system keeps the police in-line. A lot more information on policing will be available on the website very shortly. I just had to hide about half of this thread since it was completely off-topic arguing. Let's try to keep that to the private messages.

Hello citizens! I'm Motown, and I'm Identity's Community Manager, the person in charge of delivering all of your important ideas and messages to Identity's development team! What's special about my role here is that I'm not just your eyes and ears, I'm also one-half of the founding team for Identity! John Vanderzwet and I set out together to make Identity a reality, and have been involved in every aspect of Identity's development since the very start. That means, through me (and our volunteer moderator staff), you have direct access to the very top of our family tree, and we can influence the design and development of Identity together! You won't get that sort of treatment from many industry CM's! So, If you have ideas that you feel will expand and define Identity for years to come, let me know, and I will make sure it hits the right ears. What a relief it has been to know that so many people have been waiting for a game like Identity for so long. I couldn't be happier to have the opportunity to be the liaison that will connect you with the world of Identity and the wonderful people who make it what it is! We strongly feel that we have a winning formula, and the deepest conviction that we may revolutionize the MMORPG genre with your support! We're going to do a lot of great things together, so it's only fair that you know a little bit about me first! My name is Sean, I'm 27 years old. My best friend is my boss and co-worker, John Vanderzet. I grew up all over the United States where I've developed the hyperactive, happy, and unbiased personality you will come to know me for! I call Ontario, Canada my temporary home while I work on Identity as your Community Manager, interim Art Director and 3D prop artist. I went to college for Video Game Design & Production, but my true passion is interacting with people! I've been a forum moderator for many large and well-known online gaming communities, including a default subreddit of 8 million subscribers on Reddit.com, a volunteer guide of the Followers of Asura in "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures", an event organizer in "Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa" (Big RG fan btw!), the only English forum moderator of a German FPS called "Parabellum" (Google Translate ftw!), and forum moderator for "Planetside 1", "GamersFirst", "Mortal Online", and a few others I can't even remember, for varying lengths of time! Yep, I get around! But now it's time I get to know a little bit about you too. Create a new topic in this forum, and introduce yourself! We want to know exactly what personalities come out of the the deep, dark, depths of the internet to share our passion for Identity! But be nice!
