Co-CEO Director of Operations Depot Manager Ticketing Officer Dispatch Officer Coach Driver Commercial Driver Bus Driver Security Guard Secretary More jobs may become available as information of Identity is released --------------------------------- JOB DESCRIPTIONS ---------------------------------------- -The CEO: There is only one CEO and that is myself, Astonair (Air for short) I handle all the advertisement's, designs and business relations with other company's -The Director of Operations is the man in charge of ensuring that the Depots and destinations are running perfectly clear, the DO (Director of Operations) will also create and manage bus lines, bus lines that are beaming will have more vehicles assigned, rather than those which may have one bus to multiple locations less frequently. -The Depot Manager ensures that CORE Transport always has the perfect prices for passengers and Cargo Delivery customers. The Manager also manages the advert campaign of CORE Transport, but this does not include other control over other commercial company's adverts. The manager must ensure that staff are working at full capacity to make sure the system is fast and sleek - to be hassle free for all customers. -Ticketing Officer, this is the person that firstly sells tickets in the ticket office / booth and writes down all the correct details on a special ticket that will be handed to the Passengers, the passengers would hold on to this ticket with a special serial key and regular information to be checked before boarding the bus, serial keys are written down and there can only be one like it (anti-scam system) In more rural areas or less visited locations, the ticket officer comes along for a ride with the driver, to sell and check tickets before passengers board the bus. The ticket officer will be using the Microphone system the most for sure, announcing arrivals, departures and other information to take the strain of a Dispatch Officer. Ticketing officers also go onto city buses to check tickets of passengers, as policy states that people can sometimes get on with no ticket checking, ticketing officers will get on buses at random times to ensure that people are not riding on the bus illegally. -The Dispatch Officer is a job for people who would rather have an office job, this jobs main priority is to keep tabs on what CORE vehicles (Buses, truck's, vans, other company's vehicles) and to ensure that they arrive and depart at proper times, buses would be directed to proper platforms, and most of the time, you will be using the Microphone System to announce arrivals / departures / info. -Coach driver, the name said it all for me, but here is some information anyway's: The Coach driver job is the most important and critical job in the whole company, as it is the heart and the reason for being (of the company) Coach drivers don't drive in the cities and towns, they driver to and from cities and towns having only one or two stops in each city/town before proceeding on its long distance away to the destination(s), it is the job of the driver to ensure that passengers are safe at all times, and that the driver always announces stops, updates and other information via microphone, Coach drivers are careful drivers, to ensure maximum safety and efficiency for the Passengers. -Commercial Driver, this is a driver that drives Trucks and Vans to deliver goods, depending on the good's size and demand, the Van will be a more likely option, or truck for long distance / high quantity loads. This driver does not need to worry about passengers, but needs to focus on its load, to ensure that the trailer (if any) is always secure, there is no one in the trailer (if possible) and that the transport of drugs is not tolerated. If departing from a CORE Depot, a security guard will always check and secure the cargo. (always on time) -Bus drivers, you might think that this is the same as a coach driver, but it is not, type Bus into Google images and then coach, the both have clear differences. A bus driver would drive a bus of different design (if any) around the more dense areas of the game such as cities and larger towns. A bus never leaves a cities / towns boarders unless it is an N/A service approved to move to another location. Bus drivers are in-charge of selling tickets to the passengers. If there are few passengers at a stop, the driver must find time to sell tickets, if its pact with people on a stop, the driver can let people right on to prevent time-loss. The bus driver cannot have chats with passengers while driving unless it is a general question or a request to buy tickets. -Security Guards always patrol around main areas where the CORE Transport company operates such as major bus stops or company commercial Depots, other than making sure no harm is brought to people when in large groups, guards check trucks before they depart for any Illegal consistencies or people on the back of the truck. Once the load is secured, the Guard gives the all go for the driver. -Secretary Manages all the messages / complaints / reservations / enquiry. All information is provided to secretaries so that Passengers/customers questions can be answered efficiently. 1 pointThis is a double question / idea. We should be able to like mod our weapons so like having a red dot sight, painting the gun, inscribing a name on to it. Like a 1911 cutlass. Also anyone know what guns they are thinking of adding? Because an AN-94 would be cool or a 1911 or something. Maybe be able to change internals of the gun? Like being able to customize it like you can with a car being able to take it apart and give it a better firing pin. I don't know I just think it would be cool. Like converting an AK-47 into an RPK with a few parts and than deciding to attach AEG waffle clip to it than you can decide to paint the clip green and the gun black.

I keep having this recurring feeling in my stomach that this game is going to crash and burn. I mean irl people have crazy guns but okay if they don't want people minigunning others down I can understand. I just think the other guns should be in the game but really hard to get.

1 pointOh you could sell it for more if you sell it's rare or there's little sellers of the same item on the website. I used to trade Dota 2 items. You could trade 1 0,12 euro item for 2 0,53 euro items and sell each for 2-7 euro few weeks later when price jumps.

1 pointThey don't want useless NPCs, and AI plane with AI pilot is useless. They'd have to make an airport, a plane, plane's interior, a pilot, a course of the flight and so much more just to make an aircraft in a game where they absolutely don't want aircrafts. It's a waste of time and resources in my opinion.

1 point@Chaleo92 The map is anticipated to be a playable world size of 200 square kilometers, or 77 square miles in comparison. This means that the whole map is 14 km wide, and would take about an hour and a half to walk across. You'll most definitely need roads to get cross country! What will load is the entire state of Roseport. Chasing criminals from one town to the next, if need be is a given.

We anticipate that there will be some training tutorial and a quiz at the end that you will be required to complete in order to play as a cop. Private servers will have much more control over this, and can choose to white-list specific individuals rather than allow the automated system to decide.

1 pointFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) 1. How are Kickstarter backers different from website backers? There is only one difference between backer rewards for the Kickstarter and website. Kickstarter backers will receive a unique in-game hat with the Kickstarter logo. Website backers receive a hat with the Identity logo. No new content in the future will ever display either of these logos. 2. Many people are confused on what the game is about. Would you mind telling us what your vision for the game is? Is the game more about Cops vs Robbers, or a balance between all the available paths? Identity is a cops and robbers game at heart, but it is a life simulator in so many other ways. We’re catering to role-play in a way that is possibly the first of its kind. Players have the freedom to pursue careers that will impact the player economy in their own unique way. Become a taxi driver, deliver goods to player-owned businesses, fight fires, save lives, argue a case in criminal court, or just hold out your hand and beg for money. Find, or steal your ‘identity’! 3. What can you tell us about the world? World size? Player limit? We anticipate that the playable world size will be 200 square kilometers, or 77 square miles in comparison. This means that the whole map is 14 km wide, and would take about an hour and a half to walk across. We hope to support up to 300 players (or more!) per server. 4. Can you expand on the professions? We know there will be cops, but what types of jobs will be available for civilians? Will they be able to create their own businesses? Create their own items? etc. Also, Medics and Firefighters? Players can choose from a wide range of professions, including the ability to become a Firefighter, EMT, Taxi Driver, Farmer, Bounty Hunter, Fisherman, Logger, Miner, Delivery Driver and even a business entrepreneur. The options available to you as a player get more specific than this even, but we aren’t yet ready to expand on the full list. The direction of development is prone to change, and we don’t want to promise anything that might change down the pipeline. Business ownership allows players to own factories and small business, giving them control over what items are manufactured and sold. Items created by a factory must be delivered to their destination city where store owners in that area can decide what quantity and type (formal wear, casual, punk outfits, weapons, etc.) they wish to list in their business. Some default items are always available in all stores for when market demand is not met. 5. How will death be handled? When a player dies, some items such as the money the player is carrying at that time, will be dropped on the ground and will become accessible to anyone in the area that wishes to take it. Clothing items will never be dropped. We have decided that a player’s character appearance in a social game like Identity is important. You will always look the way you decide your character to look. If the player is not resusitated by an EMT or teammate, the player is then prompted to respawn at the location of their last sync (house, apartment, city) Private servers have some control over what types of items players will drop on death, if any at all. 6. Can you expand on how the housing system will work? Size and availability of apartments and houses? Players can choose to own or rent housing in Identity, while apartments can also be shared with a friend or roommate depending on the size of the property. For instance, two friends, or a married couple can choose to purchase a 2 bedroom apartment where they both can live comfortably with each other. Apartments and houses are fully customizable, allowing players to place furniture and objects anywhere in the room. Home-owners can invite other players into their apartment or house at any time. Players cannot access another players home without an invitation. 7. Will there be any specific safe areas where people can go AFK or sit and socialize without being killed or robbed? There are safe zones within certain types of buildings in Identity. Metal detectors serve to preserve immersion, and will temporarily remove any weapons upon entry, allowing all players in the area to safely relax, socialize and meet new friends. These safe zones are known to us as “Sub-Hubs” or social gathering points that reflect on the lifestyle theme of their environment (Biker Bar, Business club, Bum alley, etc.). While many of these areas can only be accessed by law-abiding citizens, some Sub-Hubs are neutral and can be entered by any player on the map. Few areas are designated gathering points for active criminals looking for the right crime of opportunity, or new friends to help them plan their next heist. 8. How will player identification work in game? Will names appear above players heads? If so, at what distances will they be seen? As our design stands right now, the official servers do display names over heads within certain ranges. Some things like masks and balaclavas can affect this. Moreover, private servers have an option where they can hide names from all players unless greeted. By this I mean you won’t see the name over another player until they perform an emote action, after which you’ll always see their name.
