Hey all, If anyone's getting the message "This image is too large" when they try to upload a signature to their account, try changing the size of said image on this site: www.picresize.com Simply give it the picture you want to change and then click Custom Size. Set the values to a minimum of 600x150 px, and try uploading it again. You should find that your problems have been fixed Hope this helps! Felix

I honestly dont like the idea of everyone running their own servers (kind of ironic that i run my own servers :p) This type of game needs a large open world to work, i can see the sides will always skew towards crime based players .. you get to a point where its KoS and everything runs wild. Although i havent seen the in-game mechanics ... When people create their character, do they create their traits ... e.g a medic cannot use a gun ... i would prefer this to be MMO, you can probably support extra devs using in-game purchasing (not pay to win), subscriptions (pay for a better house... dont pay you get evicted). I see huge potential in this game but if you mix Offical with Community servers, there will be too many servers out there to really make use of the game. and dont get me started on hackers ... hope you have a plan for that as thats a real game killer.

Any clue how that will be done? As I don't think a metal detector would work for that case alone. To keep criminals/civilians out of a desired place. Will there be any reputation system in place as well? Maybe that will be used to grant access to certain areas? Like if have a criminal reputation. You could walks up to once of those shady alley ways doors, and knock on it. And then, some NPC would open a small hatch in the door and peek outside. And if you're reputable enough, he'd open the door. Or send you away. I don't know though? Just my idea of how you could potentially have a criminal only hangout. Similarly, for law abiding citizens. You could have bouncers outside. Like a nightclub, who would only let you inside if you had a good reputation. And then, there's just the neutral zones which would use the metal detectors. You could also combine a meta detector with all of the locations to temporarily remove the weapons in any case. I don't know though. I just think those situations could be rather cool. Would also be awesome if, I, for example, as a detective. Could bribe my way inside of those shady nightclubs in order to investigate a case. Like in the movies. And then a massive bar fight breaks out. And I'd totally kick everyone's asses.

There were undercover vehicles in the ArmA life servers, based on that I do believe there are, though only high ranked officers probably are able to use them. I doubt customization will be a thing for police cars. Regular cars will allow it though, saw it in a video.

Hey all, If you had a presence on the previous site, you might remember me producing these comic strips (shown below) every now and again. I had only made 4 or 5, but in truth, the first one was the only one I liked and even that was produced in only a couple of minutes, but I've still decided to upload it today. Any thoughts?

For those new to the scene, If the server infrastructure is developed correctly you can shoot out as many servers as you need, mainly the DB/resource aspect needs scaling, which can be done through Amazon Game Servers (i am a certified AWS engineer) .. which i believe is the best option for this MMO. To those who judge people on appearances, you will miss meeting a lot of good people ... alot of developers havent developed social skills, but have developed in other areas such as programming ... you know the saying, dont trust somebody in a suit... and last thing, if you dont have anything positive to say, why say it? it doesnt contribute to anything, shows your lack of understanding. How about we just focus on ideas and gameplay and leave politics out of this.

I can't wait for this to come out and create our characters, and get a first look at what this awesome game will bring. The whole module thing is the best idea for this game.

I know that for sure, there will be no NPC cars on the roads, but there might be some NPC run shops that you could probably rob, and say you are the owner of a store, and selling a product, instead of standing in your store bored, you could probably have an npc run it with your set prices.

This would be and interesting concept. No GUI, but just your character. I would not mind this at all, looking and clicking at your character's pockets and showing whats inside them, this would be cool, but i think i would still like to have hot keys like pulling a weapon, just to be more realistic in timing and reacting to situations.

Said better than i could, if you have negative stuff to say about another player on any forum anywhere, prepare to be hazed, and don't mess with NutterButter because he'll straight up mess you up.

If everybody can make their own server so easily there is no way we can fill up enough job positions on most servers then, there are so many jobs that have to be done and in most cases there wont be enough people to do them then. Obviously the problem can be fixed by joing a server with alot of people but I can already say ahead of time that the server browsing page will be filled with servers that have no more than 5 players in them

I would def vote to legalize marijuana in the game. Just saying.

I love the idea of there being an in-game internet, similar to GTA, where you can access a bunch of made-up websites, create your own or maybe, like you said, visit the forum.

I'm sure like NutterButter said, People will probably create their own brand for items, and the other things will probably look like a brand you know, but not have the name. I'm sure they'd like the idea that the players create the world. That is how I see this whole thing working. They give us the tools, we create the world.

I doubt that. They wouldn't get payed while they are off duty. I am a police officer in Texas in real life and I always carry a weapon when im off duty. I am also authorized, and expected, to make an arrest if I witness a crime even when im not in uniform. Like they say - a police officer is NEVER fully off duty.

This driver does not need to worry about passengers, but needs to focus on its load, to ensure that the trailer (if any) is always secure, there is no one in the trailer (if possible) and that the transport of drugs is not tolerated. If departing from a CORE Depot, a security guard will always check and secure the cargo. (always on time) -Bus drivers, you might think that this is the same as a coach driver, but it is not, type Bus into Google images and then coach, the both have clear differences. A bus driver would drive a bus of different design (if any) around the more dense areas of the game such as cities and larger towns. A bus never leaves a cities / towns boarders unless it is an N/A service approved to move to another location. Bus drivers are in-charge of selling tickets to the passengers. If there are few passengers at a stop, the driver must find time to sell tickets, if its pact with people on a stop, the driver can let people right on to prevent time-loss. The bus driver cannot have chats with passengers while driving unless it is a general question or a request to buy tickets. -Security Guards always patrol around main areas where the CORE Transport company operates such as major bus stops or company commercial Depots, other than making sure no harm is brought to people when in large groups, guards check trucks before they depart for any Illegal consistencies or people on the back of the truck. Once the load is secured, the Guard gives the all go for the driver. -Secretary Manages all the messages / complaints / reservations / enquiry. All information is provided to secretaries so that Passengers/customers questions can be answered efficiently. Is pool possible? Like the ball game with sticks? Cause I feel id play if it came to bring able to go to the in game bar and play pool. Will we be able to swim to, and even go underwater? Or is that a little off the boat of identity? Ik it would mean adding a whole other world underground but it wouldn't be too difficult, would it? I just want to know that drowning and swimming is possible.( Because I'll tell you what, if I don't get money for this hostage, I've got a ocean a half mile away lol) I know I don't want to make a handful of things that take time, I'm just looking to get the most beneficial and entertaining things in the game, and a pool party where everyone's falling over seems fun to me. You guys have definitely got some pretty good ideas going here Liking this very much. I guess one thing that irks me, however, is whether or not committing crimes will have a good pro/con system. For instance, if I perhaps rob a bank, does the "payoff" depend on the bank's size or difficulty etc, or on some other kind of factor. The flipside is getting caught though, which made me wonder whether your sentence for your arrest would be decided by a cop/judge etc or by a predetermined list given by the server admin. I only ask this because I know how annoying some players are that decide to connect to a random server and basically kill on sight, and then leave before they're arrested, never to return again. Any thoughts? Thanks.

It's this kind of stuff that I want to do as a career, id love to create games especially making the appearance of gas masks and guns, that's where the fun is really at, even the mechanics of the fun firing would be exeptionally elevating to work on, well, it would lift my spirits and make me feel like a creative gangster OG 4 lyfe

On one hand it would be awesome to have the real branding (being able to own an Audi or BMW or some shit :D) but on the other hand it would be cool if business men could make their own branding.. that would make for pretty cool clothing competiton and business

Legally it would cost money to techniqually refrence a brand, but we can make our own I'm sure. I'm planning to farm tabacco and turn them into my brand names cigarettes, Cowboy Killers.

So then will there be a news channel that reports currently/recently online characters that are wanted by the police, and why they are wanted, along with a bounty for leading evidence? Cause if this game gets this deep, it's too Damn good for me- ha.
